Imperial Guard

Hey guys, on my last post I talked about what wargame to choose, I have just started an Imperial Guard army, and have not even completed a single unit, but I have done some research. Now there are some ways to start this army on the cheap. Usually you would buy the 30 dollar units, but instead you can take boxes of the 8.25 dollar figures and use green-stuff to convert some of them into saergents.

What Wargame to Choose

There are quite allot of options for wargaming, and many different genres as well. I like to divide it into two main genres: sci-fi and historical.

Sci-Fi wargaming is more about the future, and can be seen in Warahmmer 40k is a great example of this, it is one of the most popular wargames, and is produced by Games Workshop. I highly recommend this genre because it is easier to make terrain for this genre. It also fun painting them as no particular paint scheme has to be followed.

Historical wargaming, is for those into the different countries/ kingdoms of history. It is purely based on history. These are fun too. But they are harder to paint as one has to paint them properly according to the time period.
